About Susan

My husband and I have made our home in the peaceful mountains of Western North Carolina since 1992 where we worked together in the running of our home remodeling business. Together we have built 4 homes and renovated another as well as renovated countless homes for clients. I have always taken an active part in the design and building of these homes. From hanging ridge rafters to laying hardwood floors, I have gained a great deal of respect and understanding of what goes into a well-built home. I am also active in canine sports, competing with my golden retrievers and organizing obedience trials as well as serving time on the board (past treasurer) of the Sandlapper Golden Retriever Club.  In addition, I am a stained glass artist and I take much pride and satisfaction in designing and creating glass art that I often donated to benefit rescues and canine health research.

For several years I was Broker in Charge of a small office, managing 9 other agents. Feeling the need to get back to what I love about real estate, I stepped down as the managing broker in 2017 so I could concentrate on
